Social Trail Runs Are Back - Starting Sun 6 Sept

Social trail runs are back! Back by popular demand, the Striders trail runs will start back on Sunday 6th September at 9.30am and will run more or less on the first Sunday of each month (apart from October due to a Super 8 event). We will revisit some old favourites like Castlewellan, Tollymore, Drumkeeragh forest, Belvoir, Minnowburn, Scrabo/Killynether, with a couple of new routes thrown in. Plenty of trails to follow.🌳⛰️ It is open to all club members if you want to try the trails. It's not coach led, and trail shoes are recommended .. First venue CASTLEWELLAN

Cross Country Taster Session - Friday 11 Sept, 6.30pm

Open to EVERYONE, all abilities welcome.
Approx 6km, 1.5 laps of Ballydrain course.
Why not give it a go before race season starts.

Belfast Half Marathon - Sunday 20 September

We have secured a spot for the club gazebo at the Belfast Half. Somewhere to meet, store kit etc, looking forward to seeing our Striders in action!

Saintfield 10k Pacer Practice - Sunday 27 September

A chance for the pacers to get some practice in. Open to everyone - not just pacers! Meeting in the Square at 9am.

Trainer Try-On - Tuesday 29 September

Our Friends from The Running Bubble in Lisburn will be at training on Tuesday 29 September with a selection of Asics and Brooks for you to try.

Tea / Coffee and catch up after too! See you there.

Super 8 #7 - Groomsport 10k - Sun 4 October 2026
